SEND Information 

Mrs Whitehead is our school SENCO her role in school is to work with staff, children and families to support our pupils who may have additional needs or barriers to learning and to ensure they receive good quality of teaching & learning.
Mrs Whitehead will also liaise between parents and external agencies to ensure the best support for our children is provided .She also works closely with EMTAS for those pupils and parents who speak an additional language.

If you think your child may need extra support, whether you feel they are struggling in school, have a newly identified need, speak an additional language to English, or may require either curriculum or emotional support; in the first instance, please meet with your child’s Teacher and then if your concerns continue, contact the school office who will make a face to face appointment or a phone consultation with Mrs. Whitehead.

 Neurodiversity Early Years Support: Tailored Guidance for Parents

Looking for personalized guidance on supporting your child with a neurodevelopmental condition? We’re here to help! Join us for exclusive 1:1 sessions with a member of the Neurodiversity Early Years Team.

 Session Details:

 Day: Tuesdays

 Timings: 11:30 pm – 12:30 pm

 Timings: 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm

 Timings: 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm

 

 What to Expect:

These sessions offer a confidential and focused opportunity for parents/carers to connect with Rachel from the Neurodiversity Early Years Service. Rachel is equipped with knowledge and strategies to support children with neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD, autism, dyspraxia, and sensory integration challenges.

 Location: Clubmoor & Ellergreen Children Centre

 How It Works:

Booking Only: These sessions are by appointment only.

  • Three Appointments Available: Choose between the 11:30 pm – 12:30 pm slot, 1:00pm – 2:00pm slot or the 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm slot
  • Support at Your Pace: Rachel will provide tailored advice and strategies to support your child’s needs in the home environment.

We wanted to inform you about a valuable resource available to parents in our community. The ADHD Foundation Support Service is now operational at Clubmoor Children Centre every Tuesday from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

Audience: Parents of children aged 0-8 years

This service provides one-on-one support to parents facing challenges related to Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and related conditions. We have three 1-2-1 slots available each Tuesday.

If you encounter parents who may benefit from this service within your school community, we encourage you to complete the referral form, which can be found here https://forms.office.com/e/QB0R3dBs7E. While demand is high, we will make every effort to accommodate all referrals.
